A Bit About Me
Hi! I'm Kristina Beifuss.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
I am committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of life, while achieving emotional wellness. My 16 years of combined experience as an elementary and high school teacher also gives me insight into the specific challenges faced by adolescents, and the ability to help them through difficulties.
My approach to therapy is client-centred, rooted in empathy, compassion, and respect for each person as an individual, while being cognizant that each person is a part of a complex social system. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where my clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours without fear of stigma. I offer clients a collaborative and supportive framework in the establishment of goals and direction for change.
When I am out of the office, I spend as much time as possible with my family and friends, enjoying life together. If we’re cooking and eating together, all the better!
