Hi, I'm Michael!

I am Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and I do talk and somatic therapy.

​

I am educated in health systems as well as relational therapy. Interpersonal relationships play a central role over our entire lifespan, taking time to reflect on our relationships whether its with ones closest to us or one’s self can be grounding and stress relieving. After all I believe relationships provide the foundation to one’s perspective on the world and thus can also help create the perspectives on the life one wants to live.

My approach is personalized to your needs, is judgement free, and cultivates skills applicable to most aspects of life. I also include humility and gratitude as central to my approach as I have been and continue to be in the client seat as well. The talk therapy I do is systemic relational which means you the client are central to the approach. The somatic therapy I do incorporates the mind body connection as well as holds space for understanding one’s energy. I do this work with individuals as well as couples and families.

In a session with me you can expect to tap into feelings, dilemmas, and get creative with problem solving and sitting with the unknown all while being in a safe, receptive, and inclusive space.

My specific areas of expertise include: depression, anxiety, self-harm, existentialism, interpersonal conflicts, spirituality, and burnout. I offer a trauma informed and inclusive space.

In my free times I am reading on neurobiology, philosophy, walking or playing with my dog, or getting together with friends for boardgames.
