Tiana Kopilas, Student Therapist

Student Therapist

Hi, I’m Tiana!

I am a Student Therapist completing a Master of Arts with a focus in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University.

I approach therapy with the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel genuinely understood and supported. My goal is to create a space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly, without fear of judgment, at a pace that feels right for you.

My work is grounded in a person-centred and holistic perspective. I view you as the expert in your life and aim to support you in making sense of your experiences, deepening self-awareness, and navigating challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I also consider the broader contexts that shape your life, including relationships, environment, and past experiences, and how these influence the way you think, feel, and respond.

Together, we will explore your experiences within the broader context of your life and focus on developing tools that support emotional balance, self-awareness, and meaningful growth. I strive to create a collaborative process that feels supportive, empowering, and tailored to your needs.

I value the connection between mind and body and often incorporate mindfulness and grounding in my work as ways to support emotional regulation, present-moment awareness, and overall well-being.

At the core of my work are compassion, curiosity, and authenticity. These values guide my commitment to supporting you in moving toward meaningful and lasting change.
